Privacy Policy
A privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It fulfills a legal requirement to protect a visitor or client's privacy.
Countries have their own laws with different requirements per jurisdiction regarding the use of privacy policies. Make sure you are following the legislation relevant to your activities and location.
1) Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information, which you may provide, collected automatically, or obtained from third parties (e.g., payment processors, analytics/anti-virus vendors):
A. Identifiers & Contact Data
Name, email, phone number, address/city/ZIP, business name, job title, device nicknames.
B. Account & Ticketing Data
Portal credentials, support requests, chat transcripts, call notes, scheduling details, consent logs, service history, files/logs you upload to tickets.
C. Device & Technical Data
Device type, OS version, hardware identifiers, IP address, network info, performance/health metrics, crash/diagnostic logs, installed apps, security events, and similar telemetry from remote sessions or (if enabled on your plan) our monitoring/management agent (“RMM”).
D. Remote Session Content
When you grant a remote connection, technicians may view your screen and system information. With your permission, we may temporarily transfer files to diagnose or repair issues. Sessions may generate diagnostic logs. We do not record screens/audio/video unless we notify you and you consent.
E. Subscription & Billing Data
Plan selection, invoices, payments, refunds, and limited payment details. We do not store full card numbers; those are handled by our payment processor(s) (e.g., Stripe/Wix/PayPal).
F. Communications & Marketing Data
Email/SMS preferences, survey responses, referral info, campaign attribution, website analytics (cookies, pixels, or similar).
G. Security & Fraud Prevention Data
Auth logs, access time stamps, consent to remote control, verification artifacts, and audit trails.
H. Optional Antivirus/Backup Vendors (Yearly Plans)
If you enroll in a yearly plan with included antivirus (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Business), the AV provider may collect device security telemetry under its own privacy terms. We receive limited administrative signals (e.g., status alerts, threat detections) to service your account.
We do not intentionally collect government IDs, precise geolocation, or biometric templates. We do not intentionally collect children’s data (see Section 12).
2) How We Use Information
We use information to:
-
Deliver and improve Services – diagnose/fix issues, provide unlimited remote support, schedule and perform on-site visits, maintain tickets, run monthly checkups, and send wellness reports.
-
Operate security & monitoring – manage RMM/AV (if enabled), detect threats, ensure service quality, and prevent abuse/fraud.
-
Account/billing – set up subscriptions, process payments, send invoices, and handle support about billing.
-
Communicate – respond to requests, send service notifications, appointment reminders, policy changes.
-
Analytics & performance – understand usage, improve workflows, and train staff (aggregate/de-identified where possible).
-
Legal & compliance – enforce terms, respond to lawful requests, protect rights, safety, and property.
We rely on one or more lawful bases (as applicable): performance of contract, legitimate interests in operating/defending the Service, consent (where required), and legal obligations.
3) Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies for login/session integrity and may use analytics pixels (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure site performance and marketing effectiveness. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling some cookies may limit portal features. If we use advertising pixels for retargeting, you may opt-out as described in California Privacy Choices.
4) Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may “share” limited information for cross-context behavioral advertising only if we enable such advertising pixels; you can opt-out (see California Privacy Choices).
We disclose information to:
-
Service providers (payment processors, ticketing/portal host, email/SMS providers, analytics, cloud infrastructure, RMM/AV vendors) under contracts restricting use to our instructions.
-
Technicians and authorized subcontractors performing Services under confidentiality obligations.
-
Business transfers (merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale).
-
Legal/ safety – to comply with law, court orders, or protect rights and safety.
We do not permit service providers to use your data for their independent marketing.
5) Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: generally the life of your account plus a reasonable period to comply with legal, tax, audit, and operational requirements. Ticket logs and consent/audit records may be retained longer for security and compliance. If you request deletion, we will honor it as required by law (subject to permitted exceptions).
6) Data Security
We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encrypted transport for remote connections, role-based access, MFA for staff, least-privilege access to RMM/AV tools, and secure disposal practices. No method is 100% secure; please keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized access.
7) Your Choices
-
Remote Access Control: You decide when to start/stop a remote session. You can end a session at any time.
-
Monitoring Agent (RMM): Installed only with your consent (usually for Home/Office plans). You may request uninstall at any time; some service features will stop working.
-
Marketing Communications: Opt out of marketing emails/SMS via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Service/transactional messages will still be sent.
-
Cookies/Analytics: Manage via browser settings and the site’s cookie controls (if present).
